Bug summary Registry Cleaner cannot fix errors in Windows 7
Description Registry cleaner gets errors when trying to remove found errors. The error returned for each entry that fails is 'Windows core returned the following error "-5000" '. I've run it three times in a row. The 3rd run found; erroneous registry keys: 217 erroneous registry entries: 243. After fixing the errors, I am left with; erroneous registry keys: 216 erroneous registry entries: 237. All but seven errors are of the classification "invalid ActiveX/DDE/COM/DCOM/OLE". Seven are of the classification "Invalid file or directory reference". jv16PT.exe properties in the Compatibility tab - Privilege Level has "Run this program as an administrator" checked. Run this program in compatibility mode is not checked.
