Registry Cleaner runs very slow |
| Description |
I have run several tests in virtual environment (vmware - OS Win7 x64) and under these circumstances registry cleaner runs blazing fast - about 20 sec. for a full run with standard options. Now I installed the just released 2010-version under my real OS (also Win7 x64) and I am very surprised to learn, that registry cleaner here uses as much as 225 sec. for a run. In a long period of time - maybe half ways in the run - the registry cleaner seems to read a lot from the HDD (1TB), but at the same time only uses very, very litte processor-time. This makes a very big difference in time used compared to running registry cleaner in the virtual environment, in fact this is what takes maybe 90% of used time . The old version (2009) had no problems looking anything like this and also completed much faster. The initial setup (making caches) was also very, very slow. Something must be wrong..
By the way - I earlier posted problem regarding readings of PC Health, reading only health as 18% even though I have run filecleaning and registry cleaning.
I attach 2 pics regarding these problems. |
