Bug Report

BugID 728923
Reported on 18.08.2009
Reported by jo...@gmail.com
Bug summary Registry Cleaner does nothing other than report the number of errors in the registry.
Description When run as administrator, with MRU reporting suppressed, Registry Cleaner currently reports 436 errors (fewer when run as an ordinary user). After clicking the 'Fix' button and providing a backup name, no further change takes place. In other words, it does nothing. Reboots and re-runs achieve exactly the same result. The only difference when run without suppressing MRU reporting is that the number of errors found is of course larger. It does not issue an error message. Please note that in 8 or more previous replies to your helpdesk, I have been unsuccessful in every attempt to send an attachment, though sending attachments through normal email is no problem. If you can provide me an ordinary email address eg. bugreports@macecraft.com, then I can easily send you the appropriate attachment(s), but if this page: http://www.macecraft.com/bugtracker/report_bug/ behaves the same as the helpdesk page, then the file (regclean3.jpg) attached to this reply will not arrive at your end. I hope this attempt will be successful.
