How can I restore a registry backup created by your product?

Answer:

Simply use the product's own backup tool feature.

Or, you can also browse to the installation directory of the product (for example, if you use jv16 PowerTools the default backup directory is "c:\Program Files\jv16 PowerTools\Backups") and double click the "Entries.reg" backup file you wish to restore.

Do note that if you use the backup tool to restore the backup, the backup you restore is not removed from the list of available backups. This is done for your own safety, in case you would wish to restore the backup again in the future, for example.
