22.12.2006 - Illegal version of jv16 PowerTools in the wild

It has come to our attention that a company called "SoftLab SoftWare" and/or "BrainLab SoftWare" is selling an illegal pirated version of jv16 PowerTools. They are distributing numerous different products all based on a cracked versions of jv16 PowerTools, these products are:

• jv16 Power Tools 2006 1.5.2.351 1.5.2 (Notice the different spelling, "Power Tools" vs. "PowerTools")
• Windows Optimizer Platinum 1.5.2.349
• System Accelerate Expert Edition 1.5.2.349
• Registry Wizard 2.25

The company has nothing to do with jv16 PowerTools or Macecraft Software, they are not our resellers nor affiliates. They are most likely criminals trying to steal as much money as possible. We have also reason to believe they are about to launch similar illegal versions of many other popular software products. We have been in touch of the original vendors of these products.

If you have bought the product from them contact your credit card company and dispute the payment as fast as possible because they won't be delivering a working license for the product, not to even mention any product updates or even documentation.
