The new version’s version number is 3.0.0.1267. After downloading and installing the new version, please open the Help > About window to verify you are running the latest version. Some browsers tend to cache the installation file and therefore you might not receive the latest version but the same old version you have previously downloaded.

The 2013 edition also comes with the new Decrap my Computer tool. “The new Decrap my Computer was designed for uninstalling many software at the same time, without any need for the user to do anything. After the website update, the discussion forum has had a few problems as well. Luckily, most of the issues have been cosmetic, such as too large font sizes with some browsers. Most of these issues are also now fixed and we are working on the few remaining glitches.

Also, the new jv16 PowerTools 2013 is currently in beta testing and will be released when it’s ready, most likely within two weeks. More news of the new version, including the list of changes, will be released shortly.

Customers who have bought the 2012 version in September of 2012 or later, are entitled for a free upgrade to the 2013 version. Customers with Platinum VIP are also entitled to upgrade for free, no matter when the license was bought.
