The History Cleaner allows you to easily clear the history and MRU (Most Recently Used) lists stored to your computer.

Many applications remember the last files you opened with it, the last directories you worked on or what movies you last watched. These features can be useful but they can also create potential privacy problems.

Notice that also the Registry Cleaner contains a generic MRU history data cleaner which can automatically detect MRU entries and clear them. The Registry Cleaner detects generic MRU patterns while the History Cleaner uses both the same generic MRU pattern detection engine and a comprehensive built-in list of applications whose history items it can clear.

The History Cleaner can detect and clean history and MRU data from both the registry and the filesystem.
