jv16 PowerTools 2008 - Software Manager

The Software Manager lists and can uninstall hidden traces of the software and software components installed on your computer.

This tool was designed to one thing and one thing only: to uninstall software, any software, even those whose uninstallation application doesn't work.

The Software Manager uses numerous different techniques to safely detect and remove data relating to the software being uninstalled. This data includes:

• Files,
• Folders,
• Registry entries and
• Registry keys

Not like any other unistaller!

Don't be fooled by the fact that this tool can look like the Add/Remove Software feature of Windows Control Panel, or some third party products - there are very little in common. Other products and the Add/Remove Software rely solely on the software's own uninstallation program. The Software Manager doesn't. It's a known fact that the uninstallation programs of software usually leave something behind, some more, some less but almost every single one leaves something.

Advanced doesn't mean difficult to use

Using the tool is very easy: just click the Uninstall button and the Software Manager automatically uninstall the software. Advanced users can use the Custom Uninstall button, it gives the user more power on how the software should be uninstalled.

Great, but what does it do for me?
Your privacy will improve. It removes leftover traces of software you don't want to have stored on your computer. Your broken software can be fixed. Uninstalling and reinstalling non-working software might not help. Even though the product's own uninstallation program doesn't work, the Software Manager does. You can easily get rid of software that would otherwise be difficult to uninstall.
