Macecraft Software announced today the release of the latest version of jv16 PowerTools, a Windows registry and maintenance utility suite. The version, called jv16 PowerTools 2009, builds upon the strength of the previous installments and introduces several new, innovative features.

jv16 PowerTools 2009 is a complete Windows optimization and registry cleaning toolkit. jv16 PowerTools 2009 optimizes, repairs, and maintains Windows-based PCs making them running fast, safe, and free of problems.

In terms of capabilities, jv16 PowerTools 2009 acts as a complete Windows optimization and registry cleaning toolkit. It optimizes, repairs, and maintains Windows-based PCs making them run faster, safer, and free of problems.

The product costs $29.95 (USD) for first time customers and $6.95 (USD) for those upgrading. As a special offer, all customers who have bought the previous version (jv16 PowerTools 2008) on September 2008 or after are entitled for a free upgrade. jv16 PowerTools 2009 is now available for purchase in the company's Online Store.

Macecraft has also announced that it will continue its "try first, buy later" policy. jv16 PowerTools 2009 will thus have a trial version, which contains unrestricted access to all the features, with the only limitation being that it will function for 30 days. The trial version can be downloaded from here.

Installation instructions

The jv16 PowerTools 2009 can be installed over the latest version of jv16 PowerTools 2008 but not over any earlier version. Updating from PT 2008 will thus conserve any data, such as backups, registry snapshots or settings.

The Handbook of jv16 PowerTools 2009 is also ready and published with the product. The initial release of the product only contains a few translations (Chinese, Dutch and Russian). Updated version with more translations will be released shortly.

If you own a license for jv16 PowerTools 2008 purchased on or after September 2008 your existing license file will work with jv16 PowerTools 2009.
